Why Support CDS

The Center for Documentary Studies (CDS), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization affiliated with Duke University, is much more than a traditional educational center.

Truly one of a kind, CDS is the sole university-based institution that teaches, produces, and presents all of the documentary arts across all mediums for a broad range of people, from emerging and established artists whose work we exhibit or publish to individuals of all backgrounds and ages who have stories to tell and need the tools and skills to do so.

The shortest distance between two people is a story. Help us keep telling the stories that matter.
