Book Event with Geoff Dyer

Monday, May 14, 2018 - 6:00pm

Reception at 6 p.m., talk at 7 p.m.

Award-winning author Geoff Dyer will discuss and sign copies of his new book on Garry Winogrand, which follows in the tradition of John Szarkowski's classic book on photographer Eugene Atget. In The Street Philosophy of Garry Winogrand, Dyer's one hundred essays respond to one hundred of the legendary street photographer's images, including previously unpublished color work. Dyer is this year's commencement speaker for Duke University's MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts program, a cosponsor of this event.

The Facebook event for Geoff Dyer can be found here. This event will also be streaming on Facebook Live. Follow us on Facebook for more updates!
