Upcoming Lewis Hine Documentary Fellowship Exhibitions

The Lewis Hine Documentary Fellows Program at the Center for Documentary Studies is pleased to invite you to two upcoming exhibitions showcasing the work of the Program’s 2016-2017 Fellows. Both events are free and open to the public.
Mother, Me: Photographs and writing from Hine Fellow Jenny Stratton’s collaboration with former and current young mothers in residence at Zoe’s Place, a program managed by Children’s Aid and Family Services of New Jersey, providing safe housing and resources for pregnant teens, teenage moms and their children.

More Than a Mentor: Photographs by Hine Fellow Kamal Badhey give us a glimpse into a day in the life of a Professional Mentor at Friends of the Children, New York. Friends of the Children provides New York City youth with a salaried, professional mentor, called a Friend, from kindergarten through graduation. Kamal's photographs will be presented alongside photographs made by staff and youth of Friends of the Children.
