Work-in-Progress: Black Archival Imagination: The Hugh Exton Photographic Museum

Professors Ouma and Mkhize are working to retrieve, document and examine an archive of photographs documenting social life in Polokwane, South Africa, between the late 19th and mid-20th centuries. Their project aims to work with the archive to create conditions for digitization, documentary purposes, and an exhibition and book.

This event is free and open to the public, no registration required.

This workshop and all others in the series are held in the CDS Bridges Auditorium (B007), 1317 W. Pettigrew Street.
