Bel Destefani

Bel, aka Belem, Destefani joined Full Frame as operations director in 2024, but has helped Full Frame in many capacities over the years: intern, volunteer, screening committee member and programming committee member. She is a Duke alum and has a master’s degree from the NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has spent the last 12 years in NYC working for nonprofit arts organizations, such as Creative Capital, the Museum of the Moving Image, Film Society of Lincoln Center and the New York International Children’s Film Festival, as well as in higher education at New York University. She has a passion for film, books, dogs and data spreadsheets. In her free time, she enjoys exploring all the trails in the Triangle with her partner and pup.
